The Brewers Guild of New Zealand are excited to present a 3 day celebration of the New Zealand brewing industry, in Christchurch 3 - 5 August 2023.
Following three years of disruption we are bringing back BREWNZ, New Zealand's only conference and expo dedicated to the brewing industry. We are also thrilled to be hosting the New Zealand Beer Awards Gala Dinner, in one location so the NZ Brewing industry can celebrate together, in person.
The theme of this years activities is 'Creating Connections' and the goal is to bring people from throughout the grain to glass supply chain together, to share ideas, celebrate successes and to enjoy some lovingly crafted New Zealand beer in great company.

When is comes to BREWNZ, Mashing In (aka Welcome Drinks) is the event everyone wants to go to. It is a chance to reconnect with old friends and meet some new, enjoy New Zealand Beer Awards entries on tap, and tuck into fabulous food.
Less about the formalities and more about catching up with industry. This year we are hosting Mashing In at Milton Street Substation, an awesome Christchurch venue, that is one of the cities hidden gems.

The BREWNZ expo is an opportunity for our suppliers and partners to showcase their products and services direct to the industry.
It is a great opportunity for delegates to engage directly with suppliers, to meet in person and to discover new products and technologies.
The Expo is taking place in the 'Mace Space' area of the venue. We will soon release a list of this years exhibitors.

New Zealand Beer Awards Gala Dinner
The New Zealand Beer Award winners 2023 will be announce at the Awards Gala Dinner on the evening of Saturday, 5 August 2023 at the Wigram Airforce Museum.
The first time in three years that the entire industry is able to get together, in person to celebrate at one venue. This is one party you do not want to miss! Dress code is 'brewers formal/ party attire'.
Tickets are available via the link below. Tables of 10 at the Gala dinner are currently only available to Guild members or Sponsors. If you would like to book a table of 10 please email email@example.com.

Accommodation in Christchruch
There are many options for accommodation in Christchurch. Both Mashing In and the Conference are taking place in Central locations. Mashing In is a short uber drive from the Central City, while Majestic (Conference venue) is walking distance from the main strip and Central City.
We will be offering bus transport to and from the Central City to the Awards Gala Dinner at Wigram Airforce Museum.
