Alongside winning People’s Choice at GABS Auckland two years running, we’ve also won & taken runner-up at Beervana in that time. We love hops and making hop forward beers. As a fast-growing company, we are always looking for new ways to push boundaries and continue to bring better beers to more people. Signing on with Foodstuffs to make our beer available in most New World, Pak ‘n Save, & Foursquare supermarkets in the country has been a massive push this year and along with adding new export markets, we’re excited to see what comes next!
We’re looking for an energetic, confident and intelligent Lower NI Business Development & Sales Representative (also savvy, proactive and forward thinking). We’re looking for candidates with hustle - people just bursting to get shit done and get sales cranking.

We are looking for a sales guru with proven experience across the complete sales-mix to lead our sales from Taupo to Wellington. (With the likely addition of x1 trip/ month to the South Island as well.)

To develop, create and build awesome relationships (in Foodstuffs supermarkets, traditional liquor & on-premises) in order to take business sales growth to just under light-speed.
Essentials of the job
Day to day management of the Behemoth sales channel in the Lower North Island of New Zealand.
Provide the Behemoth team market insight that will assist in molding the Behemoth sales strategy in the Lower North island and further afield.
Make regular sales calls to designated accounts (existing and new) across the territory to cultivate customer relations and satisfaction. Ultimately delivering sales growth for the Behemoth brand.
Demonstrate sales abilities through successful presentation and tasting of beers and the promotion of new and existing products.
Provide accurate forecasting to enable production of beer in a timely manner for any specific activities that are planned.
Report on a monthly basis to the CEO on indicators as designated.
Organise and participate in sales and marketing events and tastings as designated.
Management of additional sales and tasting staff as and when required.
Some overnight travel will be required, with the potential requirement of some travel and work in Auckland and the South Island.
Experience, skills and qualifications
A proven track record as a sales representative, ideally having spent at least three years driving growth within one or more spirit/alcohol/beer brands (preferred, but any FMCG brand can suffice).
Proven experience of new product launching and a passion for craft beer.
Experience of using market insights to create a winning sales strategy; driving business growth at the same time
IT competency, including Google Suite of apps and CRM tools along with the ability to produce engaging presentations and sell sheets.

A consummate sales professional capable of taking people with you with ease.
Creative and data-driven in equal measure.
A natural communicator able to tailor the tone and context of any message for maximum impact and understanding.
