Hot off the press – this massive opportunity with Moa Brewing! Founded in 2003, this brewery, nestled in the vines of Marlborough is an icon in the New Zealand craft beer market. As the Cellar Door Manager your passion for beer, educating clients and staff in the brewing process and the Moa Brand will be second to none. Delivering an exceptional guest experience, both in house and at off site events all while leading and growing your business.

Who are you?

You will come from a hospitality management background with sound beer knowledge. A sales background to boot will be extremely beneficial to your success in this role. You will need a current valid Bar Manager License, full driver license and be a New Zealand resident to be considered.

What do you master?

  • Managing the day to day operations of the Cellar Door and off-site functions where required

  • Leading and training the retail sales team, some travel may be required

  • Management of Trade and Retail sales from the cellar door and online

  • Financial acumen including budgeting and forecasting required

  • Your feedback to the brewing team will be instrumental in new product development

  • Responsible for interviewing, selecting, hiring, training and managing all tasting personnel, with the support of the Food and Beverage manager

  • Retaining existing club members through customer engagement, consistent follow-up and outstanding

  • This is to name just a few!
