Good George Brewing has been growing fast, and there is no slowdown in sight!

We sell our GOOD beer and cider to over 1000 retailers around New Zealand, and we even sell some across the ditch! We also own and run a bunch of our own restaurants and bars across the Waikato and Auckland that serve great food and pour the GOOD stuff!

We have the usual growing pains that every fast growth business has….and we need some help from a talented superstar who can take our Warehouse and Logistics operations to the next level.

Reporting to the Head Honcho at Good George Brewing, the Warehouse and Logistics Manager will plan, organise and control all aspects of our warehouse and delivery operations including development of systems and process, team management, inwards/outwards goods, raw materials management, on and off-site storage, stock control and reporting, and customer order dispatch and delivery. It’s a Big Job!

Role responsibilities will include:

Review and implementation of best in class warehouse management systems and processes, including Warehouse space utilisation, raw materials and finished goods stock management.

Management of dispatch and delivery functions to achieve DIFOTIA KPIs

Planning and scheduling of work, training and mentoring warehouse and logistics team

Overseeing and hands-on pick & pack dispatch requirements including our own delivery truck and 3rdparty delivery contractors nationwide.

Oversee inventory accuracy and ensure stock management processes are robust and in sync with our stock management system CIN7

Management of Warehouse health and safety programmes

Vehicle Fleet Management

To ace it in this role, you will have the following skills / knowledge and experience:

Minimum of 2 year’s experience managing a busy warehouse and dispatch operation for fast moving consumer products

Strong problem solving, and change management capability especially with warehouse and logistics systems and process and efficiency.

Proven ability to manage and develop a high performing team to deliver DIFOTIA KPI’s

A high level of competency in Microsoft Office and Excel and Inventory management system operations

Well-developed decision-making skills and initiative

Excellent communication skills

Proven ability to build relationships with internal team members and service providers and suppliers

Attention to detail

Excellent organisational skills and time management

Forklift license required

Class 2 truck licence an advantage
