About the role

This is a newly created role to help with the accounting function of our various businesses, based out of GP HQ at Marion street, at the front of our Wild Workshop brewery. We see it as either a full-time or near full-time role, however, we are flexible for the right candidate.

Joining the Finance team of two and reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be tasked with maintaining the inventory system, purchasing processes and stock control, overseeing the accounts payable and receivable function with the support of the accounts administrator, supporting the logistics team in order processing, maintenance of Xero, invoicing, bank reconciliation and helping meet tax obligations.

This is a role that will give you variety, responsibility and development within a relaxed, open and family-orientated culture.

About you

Critical to the ongoing success of Garage Project is the tight crew of energetic, knowledgeable and downright friendly humans.

You’ll need to bring creativity, open-mindedness and a willingness to truly contribute to the GP story.

You will have held a few accounting/finance roles and/or you are ready for a step up into a more senior role with responsibility

You can demonstrate a sound knowledge across most accounting functions, preferably have used Xero and other inventory management systems
